Inspired by the energy of ’90s streetwear, hip-hop, and the timeless traditions of golf, we created a brand that celebrates individuality, creativity, and community—on and off the course.

Hi, I’m Marcus Durr, founder of Culture Club Golf.
Born and raised in Chicago Heights, Illinois, I’ve always been passionate about sports, music, and the power of culture to bring people together. Throughout my career, I’ve combined that passion with a background in marketing—earning a Bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University, an HBCU, and a Master’s degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus, before helping build brands at companies like Amazon and Microsoft.
During the pandemic, I discovered golf. I quickly fell in love with the game—but I also noticed an opportunity. Golf didn’t always reflect the creativity, style, and cultural influences that shaped my life and the lives of so many others.
That realization inspired Culture Club Golf.
Today, my mission is simple: to help build a more welcoming and expressive golf culture where people from every background feel they belong. Through style, music, storytelling, and community, Culture Club Golf is more than an apparel brand—it’s a movement to celebrate individuality and inspire the next generation to play their way and live their culture.
